Terms of service
Last updated October 29, 2026
These terms apply to Gazelle Search, including the website, dashboard, API, WordPress plugin and Shopify app (the “Service”). By creating an account or installing the plugin or app, you agree to them.
Your account
Keep your credentials and secret keys private. You're responsible for activity under your account and keys.
Plans and billing
- The Free plan is free. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled anytime; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
- On Shopify, paid plans are billed through Shopify and appear on your Shopify invoice.
- If you go over your plan's product or search limits, we'll ask you to upgrade. We won't charge overages without your agreement.
Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to break the law, to publish content you don't have the right to, to attack or overload the Service, or to resell it without our agreement.
Your data
Your catalog and analytics belong to you. You give us permission to process them only to provide the Service. How we handle data is described in the privacy policy.
Availability
We work to keep the Service available, but we can't guarantee it will never be interrupted. The WordPress plugin and Shopify app fall back to the platform's built-in search when Gazelle can't be reached.
Liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits.
Ending
You can stop using the Service anytime. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, with notice when practical.
Changes
We'll post changes here and update the date. We'll email account owners about material changes.
