Questions
What do I need on Wix?
A site with Wix Stores. The storefront search box appears on published sites with a premium plan and a connected domain, which a Wix store needs to take payments anyway. On a free site, products still sync and you can explore the dashboard.
How much does it cost?
Basic is free up to 500 products. Pro is $4.99/month for up to 20,000 products and Business $12.99/month for up to 250,000, cheaper with yearly billing. Every plan has unlimited searches.
How are paid plans billed?
Through Wix. You upgrade from the app's dashboard and the charge appears on your Wix invoice.
Does it change my site's design?
No. It upgrades the search box your site already has. Turn it off from the dashboard and your site goes back to Wix search.
How is this different from my store's built-in search?
Built-in search matches exact words in the title. Gazelle forgives typos, understands SKUs with or without dashes, searches variants, attributes and custom fields, suggests categories, and answers while the shopper is still typing.
Will it slow my store down?
No. Searches run on Gazelle's servers, not your hosting. The storefront script is a single small file with no dependencies, loaded asynchronously.
Does it work with my theme?
Yes. The script attaches to the search box your theme already has. On WordPress you can also use the shortcode, widget or Elementor block; on Shopify, the theme app block.
