Theme guides
Put instant product search in your theme's header.
Gazelle Search doesn't need theme-specific code. Every theme gets the same search bar through a shortcode, a widget or an Elementor widget, so it works with any theme that lets you add one of those to the header. The guides below show where that option lives in popular WooCommerce themes.
Free plan: 500 products and 10,000 searches a month. No card needed.
Three ways to place the search bar
Pick whichever your theme's header builder supports. They all show the same search with the same settings.
- The [gazellesearch] shortcode, in any header element or block that accepts shortcodes
- The classic "Gazelle Search" widget, in any header or sidebar widget area
- The "Gazelle Search" Elementor widget, in Elementor pages and theme builder headers
Theme guides
Each guide covers where to add the search bar, how to remove the theme's own search, and what to check on mobile. Links are below.

- Kadence
- Blocksy
- Flatsome
- Storefront
- GeneratePress
- Divi
- Hello Elementor (via the Elementor widget)
Theme not listed?
If your theme has a header builder with an HTML, shortcode or widget element, the shortcode guide covers it. Otherwise use a header widget area. If your header doesn't look right after these steps, email support@gazellesearch.com with your store URL and theme version, and we'll help you place the search bar. This is free on every plan.
Questions
- Is there a one-click replacement for my theme's search?
- Not yet. You place the search bar yourself with a shortcode or widget, which takes a few minutes and works the same way in every theme.
- Do I need Gazelle Cloud?
- No. The plugin's local search works without an account. Gazelle Cloud adds typo tolerance, variation SKUs, synonyms and a results page with filters, with a free plan for up to 500 products.
